Brenda
Coordinator
I believe that each child is a unique individual with the capacity to learn and make positive contributions to their community. Children thrive in environments where they feel safe, respected, and valued. I prioritize safety, dignity, independence, privacy, and open communication in all my interactions.
With over eight years of experience in Family Day Care and more than four years in before and after school care, I adopt a holistic approach to teaching. This pedagogy considers the whole child—emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development.

formative years and giving them the best start in life. She has studied a Bachelor of
Education (Early Childhood) and supports and equips Educators with the necessary tools to

Philosophy
“Early Ages Family Day Care strives to provide a safe, friendly and caring environment for children; this enables us to offer quality care by qualified and committed staff. Home based educators will cater for the emotional, social, personal, creative, physical and linguistic development needs of young children and their families.
We value the role of families by encouraging a positive partnership to enhance the child’s belonging in our service. We acknowledge and embrace the cultural diversity of our community, where values, rights and differing perspectives are respected and understanding and empathy is encouraged. We acknowledge that cultural diversity relates to gender, ethnicity, lifestyle, customs, beliefs, backgrounds and life experiences and how that shapes the way the child learns.
We provide this care in the knowledge that children need to be safe, to feel safe and have consistent access to significant Educators where attachments are made and trust is built. A place where every opportunity is taken to nurture, encourage and enhance their learning within the atmosphere of small groups in the natural environment of a home. In achieving this we embrace and promote the National Quality Framework including implementing the approved learning frameworks and the research and theories that underpin the outcomes they seek for children.
Early Ages Family Day Care staff will provide our Educators with a safe, friendly, caring and supportive environment to gain more knowledge and experience within the Family Day Care sector. The Family Day Care coordinators will support and guide Educators in developing play environments that promote the children’s independence, self-esteem and creativity skills as well as extending the children’s social, physical, emotional and intellectual development.”
